We checked back in on our raffle winner, Chris Kirk, who took home an Audio Electronics by Cary Audio Nighthawk headphone amplifier from The Home Entertainment Show in Las Vegas this January.
Since then, he’s set it up in his Seattle office at Microsoft with some Sennheiser 518 headphones and an AudioQuest Dragonfly DAC.
He’s gotten some pretty good responses from coworkers. Kirk said, “My favorite so far has been ‘That Cary amp sounds amazing! How do you get any work done with that in your office?’ and I said, ‘With a smile on my face, that’s how.'”
Kirk also said, “I work in the loudest hallway in the building, a hallway famous for dueling music in the afternoons. Now I win every duel, and I win with amazing sound quality.”
