About CC Coletti

This week’s Featured Artist from our Wake Up Your Ears sampler is CC Coletti.  Born in Morristown NJ, she grew up on Woodstock Lane in Branchburg, NJ and still resides there.  CC started singing and creating music at a young age.  She has been a staple on the New Jersey Rock Club Scene since the tender age of 18, and her dynamic vocal abilities and stage presence have helped her develop a very large and loyal following that continues to expand both at home and abroad.

She is known worldwide for her rocking duets and background vocals with rock and roll legend, Meat Loaf and his Neverland Express World Tours from 2003 till 2011.  She has been featured on three of Meat Loaf’s DVDs, Bat Out Of Hell Live With The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Three Bats Live, and a documentary, In Search of Paradise.  Her voice can be heard on the Bat Out Of Hell 3 album and Meat Loaf’s Hang Cool Teddy Bear CD.  CC was also featured as the opening act for Meat Loaf’s European tour in 2007.

Featured Track on Wake Up Your Ears

CC Coletti breathes new life into Led Zeppelin’s tune, “You Shook Me,” originally written by Willie Dixon.  This recording should transport you directly to the recording venue.  You’ll hear her vocal, electric guitar, bass, harmonica, and drums’ sound.  It was recorded by Chesky Records using a new Binaural+ style.  Her powerful, warm voice combined with the well respected guitarist and producer, Anthony Krizan, brings a new and modern play on the song.
