3D Printed Records

Over at Instructables, they are exploring the many possibilities available through 3D Printing.  In this video, they find a way to convert audio files onto a printable record, then print and test several of their first prototypes.  Click play below to see how they sounded.

  1. This is an interesting experiment, but I think it’s never going to be as good as a normally pressed vinyl record. You can hear the printer head moving in the song. Just not right.
