How To Coil Your Cables

Frustrated by tangled headphones and other cords?  Follow this simple method we found on Popular Mechanics to learn the best way to coil your wires.

Step 1: Over Loop
Holding the plug end in your left hand, grab the slack of the cable and make an overhand loop that falls to the right of the plug end.

Step 2: Under Loop
Grab another length of slack and bring it up toward the apex of the first loop so that it falls to the inside of the previous loop.

Step 3: Over Loop
Make another overhand loop by tracing the loop you just made with the slack wire. This loop should be to the right of the last under loop.  Finally, secure the end with a Velcro tie to store.
