FAQ’s: Flat Fee Listing

We have received a lot of feedback since announcing our new $25 flat fee listing.  Below are a few of the frequently asked questions and their answers to help you decide how you will use this new option.


Q: Can I convert my already running listing to a $25 listing?

A: As listing types are chosen at creation, we are unable to convert standard $4 listings to the new $25 listing type. This is similar to trying to convert a classified to an auction – it must be re-created under the new type.


Q: How long does the flat fee listing last?

A: The new flat fee classified listings run for the same 30 day period as our standard classifieds. Flat fee auctions have the same time period options as regular auctions.


Q: What happens if my item doesn’t sell?

A:  The flat fee listings are treated in the same way that standard listings are, and the re-list option is available if the item does not sell.


Q: Is the flat fee listing automatically featured or bold?

A: Upgrades to bold or featured greatly enhance your chance of selling, and are add on features to the new flat fee pricing just like the standard listings.


Q: How can I use the verified phone number benefit?

A: When creating your flat fee listing, below shipping options, you’ll see a green button that says “Verify Phone Number.” Clicking this button will take you through the steps to include an approved and verified phone number by your username once your listing is published.
